This week in Shieldinch… pressure mounts on Scarlett as she juggles her drug dealing with helping Patrick at his pre-trial testimony; at hospital, a sedated Pete strikes up an unusual friendship with Dr. Rosenburg; and Robbie comes to an unsettling realisation after he accuses Gary of breaking the rules of their open relationship.
As Scarlett’s weed dealing business booms, she struggles to keep it hidden from her family. With Lenny not giving her the back-up she hoped for, Scarlett’s forced to do her dodgy deals from the shop. However, Caitlin quickly uncovers the shady truth - much to Bob’s horror. Worse still, Caitlin has called the police to file a report on Scarlett’s drug dealing.
Scarlett pleads with Detective Inspector Donald to give her time to close down her drugs operation. He relents, highlighting how her actions could jeopardise Patrick’s forthcoming trial. As Scarlett faces a race against time to right her wrongs, Patrick stumbles on Scarlett’s shady secret and reacts furiously.
Elsewhere, Pete finds friendship with Dr. Mikey Rosenburg in hospital. Pete insists he’s not ill and Mikey agrees – he does not need medication, he’s just got a creative mind.
When Caitlin arrives at the hospital she is stunned to see a sedated Pete and discovers he has been diagnosed as bi-polar.
However, there is a further shock in store when Mikey’s true identity is revealed.
Robbie and Gary’s open relationship backfires badly. Robbie’s stunned to discover Gary is happily been spending time with Louie, highlighting how unhappy he is in his relationship with Robbie. It’s the beginning of the end for the couple.
