ROMAN EMPIRE CAPTURES UNITED STATES GOLD

It was WWE Monday Night Raw's first sole-branded pay-per-view since the WWE Draft earlier this July.

Only one title change on the card inside the Bankers Life Fieldhouse at Clash Of Champions and that was the WWE United States Championship.

Alexander Rusev put his WWE United States Championship on the line against former multi-time WWE World Champion, Roman Reigns.

The two heavyweights of the Raw brand battled for almost 20 minutes until Reigns hit a spear on Rusev for the 1-2-3 to become the new United States Champion leaving the WWE Universe at Indianapolis with mixed reactions as the new United States Champion was crowned.

Other results on the card are as follows.

Kevin Owens retained his WWE Universal Championship over Seth Rollins. 

Charlotte Flair is still the WWE Raw Women's Champion.  

T.J. Perkins made Brian Kendrick submit to hold on to his WWE Cruiserweight Championship. 

Antonio Cesaro & Sheamus fought to a no-contest. This result means their best of 7 series is tied at 3 wins a piece. 

Chris Jericho defeated Sami Zayn. 

Nia Jax brutalised Alicia Fox giving her a clear victory during the  WWE Clash Of Champions Kickoff show.

Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston defeated Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson of The Club and are still your W - W - E - World - Tag  - Team - Champions.
