Anne Hegerty has bravely decided to challenge herself to the limits by participating in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
Anne Hegerty suffers from Asperger's Syndrome - a form of Autism - and with that she'll find social situations and unfamiliar territories more challenging than others.
I suffer from Asperger's Syndrome and from my standpoint: If I'm given sudden change or if I don't know something is going to happen then my brain can't quite compute with that and I go in on myself. I also have hypersensitive skin which means the slightest touch, even if it were from a feather, can feel like someone's whacked me with something and I can't stand labels in my clothing (especially on the inside of t-shirts around the side).
Anne, better known as 'The Governess' on ITV/STV's The Chase tackled her first BushTucker Trial in tonight's programme.
Here's a clip of it:
Although Anne gave it her all, she only got a couple stars and with what she, mentally, has to contend with that's amazing.
