EMMERDALE AIR DAZ FINAL SCENES AS MARK JORDON BOWS OUT | INFORMING BRITAIN

31/1/2019

Picture
It's been a treacherous few months in the Village called Emmerdale for one Mr. Daz Spencer.
Picture
Kerry (Laura Norton) spotted Daz (Mark Jordon) in an awful state back in 2017 as the former soldier was living rough as a result of being homeless for three years previous.
Picture
Almost immediately following Kerry's discovery, Daz found himself back with a roof over his head (although in a campervan) much to the annoyance of his younger brother, Dan (Liam Fox), who had a longstanding rivalry with his sibling.
Picture
During Daz's time of homelessness he had to develop a thick skin to put up with all the elements that came with the situation.  With this, he manifested an aggressive streak backlashing from a gang assault from a group of men causing him to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.  Amelia (Daisy Campbell) found a military knife, belonging to Daz, in the campervan which he used for protection.  It took Daz a long time to part ways with the weapon but with the support of Amelia and Kerry, he finally let go of the dangerous instrument.

Emmerdale, albeit off-screen, killed off Ali Spencer.  This led to one of the most gripping storylines in recent years.  It emerged either Dan or Daz could be the biological genetic father of young Amelia.  DNA test results declared it was indeed Daz who fathered Miss. Spencer all those years ago, providing Dan with more ammunition to hate his brother.  Daz accepted Dan as Amelia's father.

Amelia goes missing and a nationwide search is on for the Villager.  Members of the press goaded Daz about his fathership of Amelia which only added fuel to the fire of the brothers Spencer hatred.  It was a few months before Amelia was found and returned, safely, home.

It wasn't long after Amelia's return Daz took a job interview from, what seems, a very flirtatious employer.  Following Rodney's (Patrick Mower) erroneous advice Daz tries in on with his potential new boss only to be told she's gay.  Of course, this wouldn't be all of Daz's problems as he already, drunkenly, signed paperwork to buy goods to sell - meaning he owes the employer money.

Money was always a huge part of Daz's downfall, he had many debts.  All, mainly, paid off by his family.
Picture
In tonight's Emmerdale - Thursday 31 January 2019 - viewers saw Daz accept a new start in Croydon, London, and Amelia was going down south with him.
Picture
Kerry was furious at her boyfriend, Dan, for allowing Amelia to travel with Daz.  Kerry told Dan she sees Amelia as her own daughter and that she's her mum.  Emmerdale fans will have a hard time arguing with Kerry over this as Ali - Amelia's birthmother - wasn't around for her daughter (even when she was alive).  Amelia's childhood has been cared for by Dan & Kerry - with Daz having his input as well.
Picture
Daz has always been a thorn in Kerry & Dan's relationship.  Daz tried it on with her once or twice.
Picture
In emotionally-charged scenes, Kerry reveals her visceral feelings to Amelia explaining she's her mother and Amelia reciprocated this by telling Kerry "she always will be" (her mother).  Kerry trying to put things right after completely messing up with her own daughter Amy (who will be returning to Emmerdale later this year).

Viewers have been wanting Kerry & Amelia to share this tender moment for a number of years and tonight it finally happened.

Picture
Of course, in the end, Emmerdale fans saw the denouement of Mark Jordon as Daz as he, and he alone, left Emmerdale Village for pastures new in Croydon thus closing the book of Daz Spencer.

Daz was a lovable rogue and will be sorely missed by viewers.

Emmerdale have said there are no plans to bring Daz/Mark Jordon back which is a shame as Mark is a wonderful actor and a huge asset to a programme such as Emmerdale.

I, personally, wish him nothing but success in his future projects and will be looking forward to seeing him in other dramas.
Picture
Superfans of the show will be aware Mark Jordon and Laura Norton are a couple in real life and they've recently got engaged - the very best of luck and congratulations to the happy couple.

Lets hope Laura's wedding dress isn't made out of Kerry's intergalactic jacket (above).

Emmerdale continues every weekday at 19:00 on ITV/STV with an additional episode every Thursday at 20:00.

A FED UP KERRY GIVES DAZ HIS MARCHING ORDERS | INFORMING BRITAIN

Picture
Being ever so slowly strapped for cash, Daz received a warning from his brother's girlfriend in tonight's Emmerdale.

Things have been pretty frosty in Dale Head ever since it emerged Daz was the one responsible for Graham's hit and run.

Just before Christmas, Daz tried to make his escape but was thwarted by Kerry who suffered a diabetic episode.

Daz has been struggling for work over the past few weeks and he has overstayed his welcome at Dale Head, as far as Kerry is concerned.

In tonight's Emmerdale, Daz kept more secrets from his family as he had documentation for a job outside of the Village - Croydon - but he wanted to turn it down to stay near Amelia as she is the best thing that's ever happened to him.

Kerry was having none of it and told him, in not so many words, he was lying and claimed Daz is refusing to go because he'd have no-one to leech off of.

Feeling slightly sympathetic towards Daz, Dan agreed there'd be other jobs and Daz promised he would apply for anything going near to Emmerdale Village.

Kerry finally reached her breaking point and told Daz to leave them alone and take the job in Croydon otherwise Kerry will go to the police, reporting the hit and run.

Viewers will discover Daz's decision to Kerry's warning in tomorrow's (Tuesday 29 January 2019) Emmerdale.

Emmerdale continues weekdays at 19:00 on ITV/STV with an additional episode at 20:00 on Thursday.

It was the day of Marlon & Jessie's official wedding day and in true Emmerdale style it was filled with drama.
Picture
After a few problems with witnesses Emmerdale's first official wedding of 2019 begun.

As the wedding was in full-swing an unexpected guest arrived shocking Marlon, and Paddy who was in attendance.

Picture

Chas arrived then a little trouble broke loose.

Mandy intent on winding everyone up stirred the pot between Paddy & Chas unknowing of their dark history.

Picture
Trying to act as peacemaker, Jessie stood in-between Chas and Mandy eventually calming the cousins down.

Jessie takes Chas and Mandy inside the church meanwhile outside Sam reveals to Marlon that Mandy has a son describing him as approximately 16 years old and describes him similar to Paddy.
Picture
Inside the church Chas, Mandy & Jessie have a heart-to-heart-to-heart putting old ghosts to bed.

Marlon later takes Jessie aside to reveal Paddy may have a son with Mandy.

DEBBIE'S SENTENCING: WHAT'S THE VERDICT? | INFORMING BRITAIN

17/12/2018

Picture
Today (Monday 17 December 2018) Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) had her final day in court after her involvement with Ross Barton's (Michael Parr) acid attack.

It's been a tough few months for Debbie as she has had to cope with Joseph 'Joe' Tate's (Ned Porteous) sudden mysterious disappearance and the awful struggle with her daughter, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill), hospitalisation with major life-threatening heart complications.

But today, Debbie had another task in hand - standing in court.

In the beginning of today's episode, viewers saw Debbie hand Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) various paperwork with information regarding Sarah's medication, and her kids' Christmas presents preparing for the worse - that she gets send down.

Throughout the episode Sarah vented her anger on Home Farm for Joe's vanishing act but it was the end of the episode that was special for viewers and fans of Charley Webb & Katie Hill.
Picture
In the closing moments of tonight's episode (number 8340), Sam Dingle (James Hooton) pointed to the living room at Butler's Farm when Sarah asked if any of her family had heard anything from the court.

Sarah turned to look in the living room's direction to find her mum standing there celebrating a not guilty verdict thus dampening Informing Britain's suspicions of a Charley Webb exit in the near future.

DAWN'S BACKSTORY HINTED AS ITV UNVEIL SHE'S LINKS TO A MAIN CHARACTER | INFORMING BRITAIN

13/12/2018

Picture
Olivia Bromley made her Emmerdale debut back in April (2018) as Dawn Taylor and little has been known about the character.  She was only given a last name this week.

Dawn's backstory has been explored a little more in tonight's episode.  This is almost 10 days after Olivia moved up the casting hierarchy as a series regular.
Picture
Viewers know she has a troubled life after her drug related background and suspected prostitution.  She knows Simon who attacked Ross with acid and she had a brief relationship with Ross when he was taking illicit drugs to help with the acid burn pain.
Tonight, it was revealed Harriet knows Dawn from when she used to be a police officer.  Harriet (undercover as someone called Michelle) was part of an operation to nail Dawn's father.

Harriet was a mother figure to Dawn when she was younger.

Katherine Dow-Blyton hasn't been utilised very well since she started in Emmerdale as Rev. Harriet Finch.  Always the "other woman" or the "in-between" when couples go through a temporary breakup.  Perhaps Kate Brooks and Laura Shaw will focus into getting the best out of Katherine with Olivia's addition and fans will eventually witness just how much potential Harriet and Dawn have as characters.

DAZ KILLS GRAHAM IN FREAK ROAD ACCIDENT? | INFORMING BRITAIN

Picture
Daz's day gets off to a good start as he enters the Cafe where Dan and Kerry are sorting out their finances.  Viewers saw him be very upbeat with a spring in his step, excited to be beginning a new employment.

Picture
Elsewhere, still off school because of the flood, Noah is in The Woolpack's residential quarters playing on his phone.  Liv arrives and gives him a pep talk about how the police can catch people even if their faces are covered up.  Her speech slightly rattled Noah.

Outside,Daz admired the cars he could potentially be driving.

In The Woolpack bar, Trish ordered Daz a beer and tells Daz he should do as she tells him.

In Dale Head Noah and Leanna were searching about for the keys to Daz's company car as he was in The Woolpack having a liquid lunch with his new boss who discovers she forgot important paperwork.  Trish suggests she & Daz go to her house and after Daz tells her they're in no fit state to drive, she says they'll call a taxi.

Earlier in the day, Rodney made a remark to Daz about Trish wanting him for his body, a comment Daz brushed off.  Then Daz told Rodney that he may be right.

As Daz & Trish leave the pub, as do Leanna, Noah & Amelia from Dale Head.  The youths enter the car.

In Home Farm, Graham is searching for more alcohol to drink and is told by Priya she's hiding his car keys.  He decides to walk to the shop for more supplies.

On the road, Leanna is doing her best Jeremy Clarkson impression by talking to the camera (phone) explaining how good of a driver she is.

In another car, a taxi, Daz and Trish make their way to her house.

Back with Leanna, she goes faster and faster, ignoring Amelia's pleas for her to slow down.

The two cars narrowly miss each other.

After the near collision, Daz comes to his senses and tells Trish he can't sleep with her - much to Trish's disgust as she tells him she's married - and gay.

She then quickly tells Daz to leave the car and for the driver to drive away leaving Daz on the road in the middle of nowhere accidentally taking his mobile with her.

Meanwhile, Leanna's highway to hell continues.  Leanna constantly digs at Amelia about her running away from home, allsorts.  Amelia snaps and pulls Leanna's hair when she was driving.

Leanna's vision impaired they head for a sharp bend at speed.

The car goes into a field and Leanna decides it would be best if they abandon the vehicle.

As Daz, drunkenly, walks back home he spots his car with the keys still inside and decides it would be best if he drove it home.

Daz takes to the wheel very disorientated.

In Noah's haste to leave the car, his phone is inside and Charity calls it, distracting Daz causing him to hit something.

Daz stops the car and leaves as another pulls up.  One of its passengers got out and tells the driver it's a person on the road and they should call an ambulance.

Daz then goes back to the car and drives away.

Back at Dale Head Daz calls the police to report his car as stolen to the police.

In the shocking end to tonight's Emmerdale, viewers saw Graham be pulled into hospital.

Has Daz killed Graham?

EMMERDALE BEGINS FEMALE PAEDOPHILE STORYLINE | INFORMING BRITAIN

3/12/2018

Picture
After tonight's Emmerdale viewers were left with a mixed bag of emotions as school teacher Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) made a move on her partner's son - a 15-year-old Jacob Gallacher (Joe-Warren Plant).
Picture
It was revealed a few episodes ago that Jacob has feelings towards his dad's girlfriend and school teacher.

Jacob kissed Maya who initially reciprocated but backed away after her conscience got the better of her.

Jacob has been toying with Maya, trying to make her jealous by lying about his relationship with Liv (Isobel Steele) and buying her a signed DVD copy of her favourite movie.

Jacob being 15-years-old technically makes Maya a paedophile thus beginning a rather shocking but disturbing storyline in Emmerdale.

Disgusted viewers took to Twitter to express their disgustment.

— Danimay Palmer (@Danimay_Palmer) December 3, 2018
This marks the programme's first ever female paedophile storyline.

According to the Lucy Faithfull Foundation, approximately 320,000 women, in Great Britain, are sex offenders.

The Lucy Faithfull Foundation is the only UK-wide charity dedicated, solely, to putting a stop to child sexual abuse.

Emmerdale continues weekdays on ITV / STV.  Catch up on the ITV Player and STV Player.

ITV CONFIRM EMILY HEAD EXIT AS MICHAEL PARR BOWS OUT OF EMMERDALE | EMMERDALE

2/11/2018

Picture
Picture
Picture
Back in July (2018) it was announced Michael Parr wouldn't be extending his contract with ITV and will be leaving the farmyard soap, as Ross Barton, in the next few months.

Today - Friday 2 November 2018 - saw Ross leave Emmerdale Village and he didn't leave alone.  In an unexpected twist of fate, Rebecca White said goodbye to her Yorkshire friends to set-up a new life in Liverpool with her boyfriend.
Picture
Michael Parr's Emmerdale tenure:

Michael Parr arrived on our screens as Ross Barton in episode 6600 as Ross carjacks Laurel Thomas while she was waiting for Rhona Goskirk in the chemist.  We didn't even know of the carjacker's name at this point - as Michael was attributed as "Carjacker" in the end credits.

The character was originally meant to be a "nasty piece of work" and a "bad boy" however that mould was shaped differently when Ross began a relationship with the Village policewoman Donna Windsor (Verity Rushworth) and showed his softer side with Donna's daughter, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), after Donna died.

Ross became a 'suspect' in a whodunnit (or whodunnher) when Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) became pregnant.  It wasn't until Moses Dingle was born that it was revealed on-screen Ross was Moses biological father.

Ross, being Ross, had an affair with his brother's fiancée, Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) which came to a head during a special batch of episodes in August of 2015 when it all came out that Ross & Debbie were sleeping together.

This led to a huge fight between Ross and Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) where Pete seemingly killed Ross and left his body in woodland outside of the Village.

Over 5000 Emmerdale fans wasted their time petition for Michael Parr to be reinstated when, in reality, he hadn't actually left.  He "gets paid the cost to be the Ross" and he "wasn't going nowhere".
The only storyline Michael, himself, was given to tackle would be his last in the ITV & STV soap where Ross was the victim of an acid attack disfiguring his facial features.  This was brought on by Debbie who initially told local lout, Simon McManus (Liam Ainsworth), to target Joe/Joseph Tate (Ned Porteous) however Ross was driving Joe's car and was the victim of mistaken identity.  Which is the case for many acid attack victims.

Ross struggled to come to terms with his attack for many months afterwards.

Ross found an unlikely alliance with Rebecca White (Emily Head) who had also her fair share of problems in her two years in the Village.
Picture
Rebecca arrived in style during episode 7638.  After being dropped off by a helicopter she immediately set pulses racing as everyone's blood was boiling at the fact she used a helicopter after one crashed in the Village that ended a pilot, Ruby Haswell (Alicya Eyo) and Val Pollard's (Charlie Hardwick) life not even a year previous.

She immediately joined an already established family of Lawrence White (John Bowe) - her father, Chrissie White (Louise Marwood) - her half-sister, and Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson) - her half-nephew.

Iain MacLeod - then Series Producer of Emmerdale - described Rebecca as "funny, feisty and flirtatious" with "a good heart".

One of her first actions in Emmerdale was slapping Robert for cheating on her half-sister with another man.

It was revealed not long after her arrival that she had slept with Robert as well.

Rebecca lets Chrissie know that she isn't Lawrence's daughter and a DNA test was not too far away.

Lachlan would be the bane of Rebecca's life after exposing her affair.

Later, Lachlan is the reason Rebecca currently has a brain injury after he caused a crash which killed Lawrence & Chrissie.

Rebecca made a friend in a trusty blue book that had all the recent events written inside to provide her with some form of "memory".

Like Ross, Rebecca two was presumed dead after being apparently murdered by a family member.

Lachlan, who was paranoid she began to know the truth about the crash that she forgot, kidnapped and held her captive inside a barn, again, in woodland near to Emmerdale Village.  She was kept there for a number of weeks until it was played out Lachlan murdered her.

Emmerdale gave the viewers another twist of fate: Rebecca was still alive and Lachlan had moved her to some form of hospital room. He got his old school nurse to keep an eye on her - again for a couple of weeks until the nurse saw an appeal for Rebecca on a fictional version of ITV News.  Rebecca was freed and appeared, worse-for-wear, in the Village hours after.
Picture
Ross and Rebecca have many similarities:

Both have been presumed murdered by a family member.

Both have problems with their head: Ross with the acid attack on his face. Rebecca with her brain injury.

Both have a very young child.

It only stood to reason that Rebecca had to leave with Ross as they are perfect for each other.  Emily Head has left the building thus closing the book on The White family saga in Emmerdale.

Emmerdale continues weekdays at 19:00 with an additional episode on Thursday at 20:00.

DEBBIE TO LEAVE WITH ROSS ON FRIDAY? | EMMERDALE

30/10/2018

Picture
Picture
It was announced back in around July 2018 that Michael Parr is to bow out of Emmerdale as Ross Barton after five incredible years in the fictional Yorkshire Village and ITV have alluded this Friday (2 November 2018) will be his last appearance in Kevin Laffan's soap.
Picture
Before you read further I'm in no way body shaming anyone, please give me the benefit of the doubt before you start tweeting me abuse on Twitter.
Picture
In recent episodes viewers have seen Debbie Dingle arrested for her part in Ross Barton's acid attack and during Charley Webb's (who portrays Debbie) prison scenes we have only seen her from the mid-torso region upwards on camera.

Emmerdale's audience may remember in recent episodes where we only seen Debbie sitting at a desk in an interview room and through the hospital door's window after she was released pending further investigations.

In other episodes she's been sitting on a sofa with her stomach, almost strategically, hidden.

Normally when the female characters have their lower torsos off camera is because the actor playing them is pregnant in real life.

In no means am I shaming Charley Webb's body.  She is one very stunning human being with an even better personality.  I am purely, categorically, only writing this article on the camera angles alone - I am not putting out any bad words about Charley's figure - I'm not that type of journalist. I only say what I see based on the performances of the actors or the production of episodes.

As we all know, the episode airing Friday 2 November 2018 will be Ross Barton/Michael Parr's last as Ross is leaving the Village for good.  (For future references disclaimer: Ross/Michael is leaving for now. He may return in a few years time - the door is firmly open for Michael Parr to come back to the ITV Village soap in years to come).

Emmerdale fans will remember Ross & Debbie were an item until she got involved with Tom Waterhouse/Joseph Tate (Ned Porteous).  As Joseph has been murdered by Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) - or was it Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley)? - Debbie will probably want another boyfriend pretty quickly.  She doesn't stay single for long.

Ross has somewhat forgiven Debbie for her role in his acid attack and the pair have reconciled since then.

The last thing Debbie wants is to go to prison however she has been known to be selfish in the past so she may be thinking on doing a runner.

Emmerdale likes to make their characters go on the run from the law - most recently Andy Sugden and Adam Barton.  Could Debbie be another in a long line?

Ross is currently going out with Rebecca White (Emily Head) however Rebecca has a son, Sebastian, with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley).  Robert has been very protective of his son so it's safe to presume he and his husband, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), will put up a fight for Sebastian.  Rebecca's mental health, after the accident which killed her father and sister, has been very worrying.  She's been forgetting things and putting herself in danger.  This could be too much for her to put on Ross and with Robert breathing down her neck about leaving with Sebastian she could decide to stay put as she will have a network of people to look after her.  Robert and his 'mum' Diane, Aaron and Liv, and so on.  Although Rebecca is forgetful at times currently, she is very thoughtful and kind.  She may decide her health is too important and could never ask Ross to take that on as well as Sebastian - another man's son.

Debbie is desperately wanting to avoid being imprisoned and with her father, Cain, thinking he murdered Joseph he can be very persuasive when he needs to be.  He may order Ross to take Debbie with him or Debbie may jump in the car as Ross is leaving.

As for Debbie's daughter, Sarah (Katie Hill).  There's loads of Dingles in Emmerdale Village to look after her in recovery so Debbie will know she's leaving her in good hands.

If Charley is pregnant then this would be an ideal time for Ms. Webb to depart the show for maternity leave.

All we know for certain is to watch Emmerdale on Friday 2 November 2018 at 19:00 on ITV & STV to discover if:

Ross leaves alone.

Ross leaves with Rebecca.

Ross leaves with Debbie.

Or, could this be a smokescreen.  Could Ross be staying and another character unthought of departing in his place?
