Emmerdale have revealed that it is a Tate who will be either coming back to the Village or it may be a character not previously seen before.
In recent episodes soap fans have seen Joseph Tate (Ned Porteous) tell his aide Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) that he's like a father to him which leads Emmerdale fans to suspect that may be legitimately so.
Who's behind the Masquerade mask? AndyGibsonTV.com did a little digging and has come up with a possible spoiler.
Chris Tate, Joseph's father, died back in September of 2003 after committing suicide. His last words before he succumbed to the poison were abuse towards his then wife Charity Tate [now Dingle] (Emma Atkins).
There is a high-profile blonde Tate still very much alive and that being Kim Tate (Claire King) who was Joseph's step-grandmother.
According to Claire King in her autobiography, Kim was originally to be married to Chris but the storyline team felt she (Kim) was more interested in the Tate family fortune so they cut out the middle man.
Kim has been elusive since January 1999, evading police custody on the run for almost 19 years. Could she be on her way back to Emmerdale Village to hide in plain sight? She certainly would give any of the current Dingle women a run for their money.
Andrew Scarborough has recently followed Claire King on Twitter which points towards the fact they may have met over the past few months and with Emmerdale filming weeks in advance, it stands to reason this could lead the viewers to believe Kim Tate is returning to the farm.
Although Claire hasn't followed Andrew back, she has recently followed some current Emmerdale cast members; Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi, Amy Walsh, Michael Parr and Emily Head which could mean she had been working with them not so long ago. Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi - who plays Leila Harding - is due to return from maternity leave in Autumn of 2018, the timeline fits.
Could Graham and Kim be married? Kim being the wife of Graham who has taken Chris' place as Joseph's 'father' may be a nod to the originally intended storyline.
True Emmerdale fans have always said they would like for Kim Tate to return and this would be the perfect opportunity for Kim to finally get her comeuppance.
Also, when AndyGibsonTV.com was at Emmerdale Village earlier this year, during an animal-related quiz with Michelle Hardwick as part of the festivities, Kim Tate was in fact an answer to one of Michelle's questions. Could this also be a subtle clue to members of the media that she is coming back?
Who do you think this is?
