Yesterday on EastEnders we seen Martin Fowler (James Bye) attend a Walford High School reunion at the local Walford nightclub, E20, where he met with a group of his former schoolmates. His wife, Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner), went along to provide moral support as did EastEnders returnee Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton).
As Martin had work the next day and Stacey has three children to look after they went home fairly early leaving Ruby with Martin's school friends, Ross Swinden (Ossian Luke), Matt Clarkson (Mitchell Luke) and Glenn Neyland (Todd Von Joel), for the rest of the night.
Ruby, who returned to the BBC One soap opera after 12 years, spends the day with Stacey in this evening's episode. Stacey listens to Ruby's disturbing version of events from the night before.
Ruby tells Stacey that she went back to Ross' home and slept with him. She passed out and later woke up to find Matt on top of her.
Meanwhile, Ross & Matt will explain to a cautious Martin their take on what happened with Ruby. A very different recount of their night with Ruby. Insisting Ruby gave consent to sex.
With Ruby struggling to put pieces of the puzzle together, the boys and girls clash over if Ruby gave consent or if it was rape.
Next week Stacey notices Ruby is struggling to cope.
And Ruby going to the police to report her rape.
